Our Origins: The Rogers Group Founding
Founded in the Great Depression by Orley Rogers, a Michigan cobbler who saw an opportunity in repairing football equipment, the company grew through generations of entrepreneurial vision.
The Rogers Group Expansion
From pioneering football training gear for the Detroit Lions to revolutionizing event staging with StageRight in 1983, the company expanded into strength training equipment and film packaging, always driven by the same pioneering spirit.
Forging Ahead
In 1979, the business team expertly won a contract with Dow Chemical to process and package Saran film for food storage. This led to the creation of the FILCON business unit, which now produces and packages films under its own brand.
